THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR FLYING! LONDON LUTON AIRPORT PUTS BEST FOOT FORWARD WITH NEXT GENERATION SECURITY SCANNERS
Using consumer research and engaging imagery, we launched a story highlighting London Luton Airport’s (LLA) launch of their next generation security scanners.
New research revealed over three quarters (77%) of flyers have previously removed their shoes in airport security, and a third (37%) have adapted airport attire to account for security checks.
In fact, a quarter (25%) of travellers cited footwear as the first item of clothing considered when deciding on their airport ‘get up’, but with the new scanners successfully installed at the airport, passengers travelling from LLA will benefit from quicker security checks and no longer have these wardrobe worries.
Our imagery and insight proved to be irresistible to media, securing nine national pieces of coverage in print and online, as well as an array of regional publications.
Travelling has just got a whole lot easier - now that’s what we call a step in the right direction.
